- Spring Cleaning: Now that spring is officially here, it is a perfect time to perform a walk through of the exterior of your home and yard to address any outstanding issues. Every homeowner is responsible for the maintenance of their property and should consult the Verdict Ridge ACC Guidelines as repairs or changes are contemplated. All the appropriate forms to file and instructions can be found on the HOA website under Community Documents. The ACC inspects homes in the spring with follow up inspections to determine whether any cited problems have been fixed. Homeowners are notified of any violations and are given a specified period of time in which to complete repairs.
- Street Parking Reminder: Please remember our community guideline regarding vehicles parking on streets. Vehicles are not allowed to park on the streets of the community except for occasional overnight parking for guests. Residents, please park in your garages or driveways. Some of our streets are quite narrow and we need to be kept clear for traffic and emergency vehicles.
- Safety Reminders:
- Until the NC DOT takes over the road, buses for Lincoln County Schools cannot enter the private streets in Verdict Ridge. Please be aware of the school bus drop-off each weekday around 2:30 pm at the east entrance (off Little Egypt Road). This creates a bit of a logjam for the 5-10 minutes it takes for parents to pick up their children at the gazebo in an orderly fashion. Residents, parents, guests and contractors all need to exercise patience to safely allow our young children to get to their parents waiting cars and/or beyond the intersection on their walk home. Please do not pass the waiting vehicles in the intersection while this transition occurs.
- Please be mindful of your speed as you travel through Verdict Ridge. As we enter into the warmer weather season, children will be out and about playing, riding bicycles, etc. Parents, please remind your children to be mindful of traffic.
