RECENT INFORMATION/REMINDERS:
 
We've all been able to enjoy a wonderful Christmas season with very mild weather to make it even better!  Our homes were decorated for all to admire as were over 80 lightpoles and both entrances to Verdict Ridge.  We wish to recognize Glenn Carter, Greg and LeAnne Glidden, Craig and Eileen Wilkie, and Randy and Laura Banks for their tireless work installing the red bows on the lightpoles.  Too, Whispering Pines joined LeAnne and Laura adding lights and garland at the entrances.  Thank you all...we appreciate your contribution to our community's Christmas Spirit and your deft work on those ladders!
 
The Verdict Ridge Homeowners' Association ANNUAL MEETING has been scheduled for MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13th at 6:30pm.  Please plan to attend.
 
School's back in session this week...Please continue to watch your speed as you travel through the neighborhood.  Concerns about speeding can be directed to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department (contact Lt Erin Long at 704.736.8878 with NON-emergency concerns).
 
The VR Homeowners' Association Board of Directors is responsible for assuring both the beauty of our community and our property values through compliance with the neighborhood covenants.  We get a considerable number of comments relating to the "compliance letters" mailed by our management company subsequent to their inspection drive-bys.  The board wants these communications to be effective...We want to hear from you!  What do you like/not like about these letters?  What suggestions do you have to make them more effective?  How would you make them more "actionable" for the recipient?  Send your comments via email to Dan Jones, VP-VRHOA at hogzilla01@gmail.com
 
Be reminded that ACC approval is required BEFORE improvements are made.  The ACC approval forms and the recently updated ACC guidelines can be found under the Documents section of the website.   Failure to do so can result in substantial penalties, so take a look at the guidelines and contact any member of the ACC if you need clarifications and/or answers to your questions in this regard.
