Homeowners Association Meetings
 The Board of Directors of the Homeowners Association meets every 3rd Tuesday on the 1st month of each quarter at 5 pm in the Clubhouse. All residents are urged to attend. Residents who have a concern and wish to speak at the meeting must be placed on the agenda by contacting Vera or Maureen at Abbott Enterprises at  mfloyd@abbottexcelence.com or 704 527-2314. Quarterly Meetings are held in: January, April, July, October.    
 

Message from the President

As the newly elected President of the Callonwood HOA I wish all residents a healthy, happy, prosperous new year. I look forward to working with returning and newly elected members of the Board of Directors in continuing the development and maintenance of our young community.

I also deeply appreciate and will continue to collaborate with the very small group of resident volunteers on the various committees.  Each of these individuals devote an amount of their family/free time to help operate community facilities, organize recreational and social activities, and most importantly  make recommendations to the Board their ideas to improve our community and home values for all of us. 

The current Board of Directors consists of five dedicated residents who have volunteered to serve the entire community, but they need committee help.  At the present time all of our committees need your help to keep our community and its amenities operating at full capacity to enjoy its benefits in the present and in the future.  As the President of the HOA, I am asking for you, the residents of Callonwood, to attend our meetings; step forward and to volunteer for a committee.

NEWS FROM YOUR HOA BOARD OF DIRECTORS 
The Callonwood Board of Directors continues to work with the various committees for the benefit of all Callonwood residents.
Help is desperately needed for the following committees:
(1) Clubhouse
(2) Pool
(3) Landscaping
(4) Park and Recreation
(5) Website
Please remember that a Home Owners Association can only be as good and responsive to the needs of the community as measured by the participation of its residents.

CURRENT ASSOCIATION PROJECTS
  • comprehensive landscape replacement and beautification program has been approved. This program has 3 phases. Phase 1 has been completed. Phase 2 is set to begin this month with attention to replacements and additions to interior areas throughout the community including the Community Park. Phase 3 is being developed to include special projects and for the newest section of the community still under construction by MI Homes.
  • Park improvement recommendations have been requested of the park committee. Any resident suggestions should be directed to the committee.
  • The clubhouse committee has completed and presented to the Board of Directors an updated and revised rental program. What is still needed before rentals can resume are additional residents to assist the committee in implementing the revised program.
